​What is the Comprehensive Support Law for Persons with Disabilities?

​Official name: Law to comprehensively support the daily life and social life of persons with disabilities

Comprehensively provide necessary disability welfare services, community life support projects, and other support so that persons with disabilities and children with disabilities can lead daily or social life appropriate for their dignity as individuals who enjoy basic human rights. The purpose is to improve the welfare of persons with disabilities and children with disabilities, and to contribute to the realization of a community where people can live with peace of mind by respecting each other's personality and individuality regardless of the presence or absence of disabilities. .. ​basic principle

  1. Realize a society in which all people coexist while respecting each other's personality and individuality, without being separated by the presence or absence of disabilities.

  2. Opportunities for social participation should be ensured by receiving support for all persons with disabilities and children with disabilities to carry out the necessary daily or social life in their immediate surroundings as much as possible.

  3. Have the opportunity to choose where and with whom to live and not be prevented from coexisting with others in the community

  4. Contribute to the removal of social objects, institutions, practices, ideas and anything else that could be a barrier to daily or social life for persons with disabilities and children with disabilities.

  5. Must be done comprehensively and systematically
